Giancarlo is an Airline Transport Pilot formerly rated in Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Air Safety Management and over 20 years of operational and regulatory expertise in Civil Aviation, UAS and Advanced Air Mobility. He has acted as Regulatory Manager with Skyports since mid-2022 covering the UK, European and Middle Eastern regions while being the lead of regulatory/policy development and implementation in those markets. Additionally, Giancarlo is the lead of Eurocae WG112 (VTOL) Subgroup 5 (Ground), Member of the UK EVTOL Safety Leadership Group and Member of the UAS Advisory board of CHIRP – Confidential Human Factors Incident Reporting Programme.
